Overview
With the continuous development of IT technology, higher requirements are faced by electrical reliability and delicacy management of data center, and large-scale & high-density electricity has become the development trend of data center. Therefore, it’s very important to carry out real-time monitoring on power incoming/outgoing lines of data center array cabinet. What’s more, electricity cost accounts for a large proportion in O&M cost of data center, and using energy in a more economical and effective way has become a responsibility of related enterprises.
A precision array cabinet provides safe and reliable power supply to server appliance of data center energy terminal, and precision power distribution units provide high-precision measurement data for data center energy monitoring system. As a result, power quality data are reflected in real-time through human-computer interface. Moreover, such data are uploaded to background dynamic environment monitoring system through digital communication, realizing real-time monitoring to the whole power distribution system. At the same time, precision power distribution units can provide energy metering function and realize refined energy efficiency analysis of power distribution and rack, to provide basis for the optimal regulation of power distribution network and server running energy efficiency, thus achieving the purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction.

Monitoring Function
Conduct real-time monitoring to switch status of each circuit through BCM101-K module. Switch status of outgoing circuits can be monitored directly through BCM101-S module at the switch outlet, without extra auxiliary contacts.
Realize real-time monitoring of basic electrical data of incoming/feeder lines including voltage, current, power, power factor, frequency, energy, power quality, harmonics, demand and extreme values.
Realize real-time display of alarm information including alarm time and alarm value, quickly guide the operation and maintenance personnel to handle the problems.
Check alarm records for off-limit electrical parameters and display historical alarm information. Record down alarm electrical parameters, alarm types and alarm start time in details. The status of the running line in alarm time can be traced by querying historical events.
Monitor real-time status of energy consumption and alarm for each circuit so as to facilitate user’s operation and analysis. Adopt 7 inch human-machine interface on site for convenient interaction operation. Provide Ethernet port to be connected with upper level monitoring system.
